Through Innsbruck and on to Haiming: Another lovely day in the Tyrol

Another beautiful day in the Tyrol, we have been so lucky with the weather. The farmers are flat out, the hay they cut a day or so ago is being tedded and they have started to gather it up. The thing we don't want to see is farmers sowing seeds a sure sign of rain - we just need another couple of days to get over the mountains.

The radweg is fantastic, it is so much better signed than in Germany and although we are climbing it seems almost flat, it is another story however when you get off course, it is then almost vertical. We got to Innsbruck by morning coffee time and sat in the market place drinking our coffee and enjoying the sights around us.

Once again accommodation wasn't particularly easy, so again we went further than planned but that is a good thing really. Tomorrow we will start our climb and want to stay about half way up so I have got on the internet and booked something, It means it reduces our flexibility but will reduce the stress at the end of the day

I love these bridges. The Inn is smaller now, we are above its 17 dams so it is free. It is the milky blue of a glacier feed river and now rushes alon with rapids in parts so we have seen canoes having fun for the first time.
