Day 16: Millersburg to Doylestown
A Smaller Day
Sorry about the late entry, the basement didn’t have great connection.
I didn’t sleep great in that “cabin.” And getting out of that valley was a pain. But eventually, I found the trail again and was all set! I grabbed a quick lunch in Fredericksburg, and the place I stopped had ice cream!
Shortly after Fredericksburg, I met up with Kevin, who was my Warmshowers host for the night and we rode together a good 25 miles or so.
It was nice to meet up with him, since we were riding on the road for the most part and he knew the area very well. We talked for a good while and he told me about the history of the area.
Once we got to his home, I met his family and eventually we went out to dinner. They were very kind and bought my food for me! Once we got back, we had a great conversation on their back porch until we got tired and headed off to bed! I was due for a good day!
