The hardest 49 mile ride I've even done. Right at the start a huge climb up and then down to cute little village..Cannon Beach. 2 more massive climbs with the second up Neahkahnie Mountain. A killer climb but the payoff was incredible. The views of the Pacific were beyond words. The climbing eased as I worked my way to Rockaway Beach for a late afternoon meal. Thankfully the 14 miles or so were relatively flat into Tillamook, headquarters of Tillamook yogurt, cheese, etc. These next several days in Oregon are going to be challenging riding but the views and vistas are spectacular!
