Day 30....Monterey to Limekiln State Park

Downtown Big Sur California. It is a "town" as well as many miles of beauty.

I left Dave and Heidi's in Monterey and headed for Pebble Beach Golf Links, sacred ground for any golf nut. I took a little longer way via 17 Mile Drive which is an unbelievably beautiful drive on the ocean and past several golf courses. Sat on the back porch at the Pebble Beach lodge and had a juice and bagel. It was Great!

After a drive through Carmel things changed quickly. The next 52 miles

were wild, remote with no towns and very few services. The hills were massive and the views incredible in Big Sur.
