When we complete a trip, we always feel that it was the best trip ever - and here goes..."it was the best trip ever!"

For many reasons, this was a trip that required flexibility and at times patience. Waiting patiently for the heavy rains and flooding to slow down on the Mosel River at the start of our trip and then deciding to change our route midway through the trip. And that is the charming reality of travelling independently, a flexible schedule and itinerary reap their own rewards.
