One Fine Day - Part Two: Passau = Passwow!

My resentment at having to go back through crappy Germany was eased slightly by the fact that Passau was a really rather picturesque place with narrow streets and spectacular buildings with a beautiful setting at the junction of Inn and Danube. And my feelings were turned completely on their head by a chance encounter with a really wonderful man named Walter. He told me he was 70 years old and still was himself doing bike trips each year. He was very happy to hear that I was camping, he said it was the only way to do it. He told me about some of his lifetime of adventures, by bicycle and backpacking, travelling the world. He was absolutely the greatest man in the entire world.

Germany, consider yourself redeemed.

Passau - this is the end of the Inn river, the far right of the land in front is where the Inn ends and the Danube picks up the story
