Dr Dave gets wet: Munich at last

I'm not sure who will play Dr Dave in the movie of the trip. In my opinion he lies somewhere between Stephen Fry and Action Man. He can't be played by Action Man though can he? George Clooney would be a candidate because of ER, but Dr Dave isn't quite that suave. I can't cast it without auditions. Can we invite Stephen Fry and George Clooney for auditions please?

Anyway, whatever, it doesn't matter. We made it to Munich, and it started to rain. Dr Dave had an emergency raincoat. He looked funny in it. We had time so we stopped at a German beerhouse and he ordered two lunches for 17 euros each. I wouldn't have done that if I'd been by myself.

The beer house in Munich. "Is this one of the beer houses where Hitler gave his speeches and gained support?" asked Dr Dave.

The man himself (Dr Dave, not Hitler), ready for the rain

So we made it to Marienplatz and drank an orange juice. We had made it from Zurich to Munich by bicycle, and we hadn't even had to take a train once. Well, no, wait, Dr Dave did, didn't he? We had made it from Zurich to Munich by bicycle, and we hadn't even had to take a train twice. Well done, Dr Dave, hope to see you again soon!

A soggy but successful end!
