Dan and Louise, my son and daughter in law, are taking their daughter Ms. Wendy Max, on her 1st Birthday Bicycle Tour around the famous and beautiful Mount Rainier in Washington State. EPIC it will be! Mount Rainier, located in Washington state, is a towering stratovolcano and the centerpiece of Mount Rainier National Park. It's known for its extensive glacial cover, with 26 major glaciers and 36 square miles of permanent snowfields. Rainier is also where Dan and Louise were married and enjoyed their honeymoon hike on the Wonderland Trail.
The actual tour will begin at Crystal Mountain on August 20th, 2025 - see Routes labeled "RAINIER 2 - 4."
Grandpa Dale will be riding to the start using "RAINIER 1" and Dan and Grandpa Dale are hoping to ride home using "RAINIER 6 - 8."
The Birthday Tour will include some friends from Seattle and a support crew of granny's from New Jersey and Florida. In addition off-site ~ across the Country ~ moral support will be provided by Ms., Wendy's family and friends. EPIC it will be!
