Day 27 Camping Petunia: pseudo rest day

Today is a pseudo rest day.

We plan to cycle this afternoon a small distance to a campground closer to Puerto Pañuelo to catch the ferry tomorrow morning at 8am. The sky threatens to rain, so after breakfast of fried eggs and bad bacon, we pack up the tent and lock our bikes under a shelter and head into town. With our laundry bag we walk down a very steep hill and catch a local bus to town. Dropping off the laundry, the next order of business is to go chocolate hunting.

Bariloche is famous for the chocolate.

We find a giant supermarket for chocolate "Chocolate Regional de Turista" and Rachel buys 3 small boxes of chocolate to send to her mom. So now we must find a shop that sells tape and brown paper, which we find after only a short wandering around. We find the main Correo and mail the chocolates.

We eat at Zona Sur. Then it's time to pick up the laundry. We catch a bus back to the campground and walk back up the very steep hill. We pack the bikes and ride down the very steep hill and onto the next campground.
