To Ghanzi: When did 68k become a short day?....

"Thank you for the ride" says Patrick. At 0530am, our gear and bikes are loaded in the truck, and what took us 30 minutes yesterday of hard work, we are back to the main road in 5 minutes. A nice start to a relatively short day. The owners had also given us two 1.5liters bottles of frozen water.

The ice in the water lasted 45 kilometers. It's another hot day.

We arrive in Ghanzi at 0930 and stop to shop for groceries before making our way to Kalahari Arms Hotel and Camping. Another nice spot to camp. We pitch the tent, shower and jump in the pool. Afternoon, we stay in the shaded outdoor resturant.

The next stage is 300kms to Gobabis. The decision, do we take a rest day here or continue on to Gobabis?

The owner of the campround give us a ride in his farmtruck back to the mainroad.
