Reflections of Africa: A few People we met along the way

We met so many nice and helpful people along the way. Whenever people would talk with us about cycling, we would take their picture with our 1994 picture.

Nuwerus South Africa, 2015. Hardeveld Lodge owners Kobus and Fey gave us a cold coke upon arrival and picked apricots from their tree for us went we left. Great Hospitality!

West Cape South Africa, 2015. Nick and Vicky, Warmshowers hosts. In 2010, they drove in a 4x4 vehicle the from England to South Africa. They had been informal warmshowers hosting for many years, just signed up with WS and we were their first official guests.

Tableview South Africa, 2015. Amanda Niemand, sister to Leanna, has been so helpful to us this past year. Leanna stayed with us last summer through Warmshowers, she has been cycling now for 9 years. Amanda has been our contact for mailing items from home. We are staying in the flat of another sister, Karin for our stay in Capetown
