Hidden Creek Campground to Boise

The day starts early with us fixing only coffee and leaving the Hidden Creek Campground amongst the tall old cedars. We continue following the North Fork of the Clearwater River, then cut across on route 250 back to the pavement at Pierce Idaho.

After that it is a familiar drive to Kooskia, Grangeville, Riggins, McCall and on towards Boise.

"One more hill" Patrick says. We've stopped for dinner at Horseshoe Bend at the Mexican Restaurant. "Very different from two years ago" Rachel adds, "Driving not biking".

Almost two years ago, we were riding home after being gone for 2 1/2 years. Once we joined Highway 12 at Kooskia, we start reminiscing our ride home in 2017...here's where we camped, here's were we stopped for lunch because it was cold and snowing.

We pass Chief Parish camp, our last night out before coming home to Boise in 2017, and remember how friends brought us dinner. http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/15529

It's fun to reminisce and it's great to do new rides, and always good to be home.
