Guagnano Wine Touring

Linda, our host at Corte dei Furesi and owner with her husband of L’Orechiette, set up tastings for us at Cantele and Claudio Quarta. I’ve had two of the Cantele wines as they are sold at Esquin in Seattle. The aperitivo menu served with the wine turned out to be a generous lunch.

An appropriate mural for this agricultural community.

The barrel room of Cantele. Only €60 when they sell their used ones.

Malvasia with burrata and dried tomato.

Rohesia with orecchiette and melanzana.

I like this idea for a table at Claudio Quarta. Good way to display/use old corks.

Quarta has a small museum. This wine jug is one of the artifacts.

At the reception is this cool old portable record player. Still works.

I’m the garden area of our accommodation.

So relaxing.
