Great ride into South Carolina

Savannah to Bluffton

I lay awake last night worrying about riding into South Carolina due to the feedback about road conditions, no shoulders, truck traffic etc. Heading through Savannah was very nice this morning.

Forsyth Park is very beautiful and the East Coast Greenway takes us right through it.

Riding up to Port Wentworth was very quiet this morning. We rode by the pulp mill. Here we are across from it. Traffic was light the whole way.

We stopped in the Savannah WIldlife Sanctuary

They are just laying down a very nice shoulder on 17!

There was a bike path almost the whole way to Bluffton where we are staying with Lois and Gary.

Gary and Lois took us into Bluffton to look around. It's market day but it is small due to being off season.

They just bought a Tag teardrop and it is very cute.
