We came across this filming - it was on a very big scale, many trucks of equipement. Five big buses were labelled Film Crew. There were actors all over the place in 1930s clothes

We went to a mass at midday in this church. Even though it was a Wednesday this big church was nearly full. The lady beside me went sound asleep and started snoring! I have never seen this happen in either St Marys or St Peters. They had a wonderful organ and a man with a beautiful voice who sang

This church would have been destroyed in the 1944 uprising and like the rest of the area has been faithfully restored but the interior is very plain. This is a small part of one wall which wasn't destroyed and shows what it was originally like

I don't know what it is about us we are always being given free food. We ordered a beer and soup but he also gave us pate and fresh rolls and at the end of the meal a cherry liquer. Earlier in the day while were having coffee we were given a croissant

There are many touching memorials around Warsaw.. This one is'The Little Insurgent Statue' - it recoginises what the children did as messengers during the uprising. All these statues have fresh flowers on them and eternal flames burning
