Another wonderful day in Piedmont! We started off in the clouds and everything looked ethereal then the clouds lifted and was just stunning. The route https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36023240was awesome and roads so quiet we heard birds chirping all day long. More vineyards of course but tons of orchards of hazelnut trees too. The climbs were longer but not too steep and the descents just hairpin turn after hairpin turn and so fun.
I rode with two other ladies and decided we were the Piedmont OWL team! (Old women in Lycra🤣 which is apparently a national club with local organizations all over ). Eric sped ahead. Still wonderful to be in Italy. 🇮🇹
