I decided I needed a day off the bike but had heard about the view in La Morra and it was close so I rode up the hill, admired the view, had a cold soda then bombed back down and just a great day off the bike. The vineyards just seem to go on and on!

Brody did the long loop of course and got back almost the same time as me! Worth mentioning that Holly went in to the towns of La Morra and Barolo and spent some time exploring before I got back. The loop had stunning views, a long gradual climb and views of the Alps in the distance. Pleasant ride. https://strava.app.link/SEQEJxRjITb

We had some lovely Barolo and Barbaresco wines and a wonderful dinner - risotto for me and tamarin noodles with ragú for our primo and we shared a brasato al Barolo (braised beef in barolo)  as our second with strawberries for dessert.  Did I mention how amazing the strawberries have been here?

Today's ride: 30 miles (48 km)
Total: 182 miles (293 km)
