Piedmont day 6 - Fossano to Barolo

Best ridgeline ride!

Best day yet! This was a hilly ride with some long climbs but the scenery was just wow. We climbed up this incredible ridge line and the view dropped away from both sides. Spectacular!

We had quiet roads, endless views that blow your mind (camera doesn’t do justice) with vineyards galore, orchards of hazelnut trees annd fruit trees, and charming villages along the way. It was just great fun. We had five hairpin turns on the one long climb which was an out and back so we loved the hairpin descent too of course! Woo! The climb included 14 large frescoes that were the 14 stations of the Cross depicting the Passion of Christ as we climbed to heaven so that was a fun twist.
