Piedmont day 5 Fossano Loop

Lovely lovely day

We just had a lovely lovely day. It wasn’t spectacular in any way but just great weather, nice wind, quiet roads and pretty scenery. Not a single complaint!

Descending first then climbing back out of the valley was the rule of the day - we had many great descents that were both hairpin and swoopy (which were all then followed by the obligatory steep hairpin climbs but most were blissfully short).
We saw probably 100 cyclists but most singles or doubles and all yelled “Ciao” to us.

We found a fun place with a great mother - daughter team for lunch at Queen’s café (huge fan of Freddy). We chose pork with roasted potatoes and pasta with mushrooms) and Brody has his best Tiramisu ever then later we ended the ride with gelato before the final climb to the hotel. Now for a little sightseeing of Fossano.

Almost every town/ village has a clock steeple but all unique

Corn fields alternates with wheat fields

The brick clock tower are my favorite and seem unique to this area

They have public water fountains all over and many in fun designs. Great cold water too!
