Piedmont day 12 - San Marzano Loop
Last day of Piedmont!
Today was the last day of Piedmont! It’s been an amazing 12 days so today was just spent soaking in the last of this area. More tranquil roads and huge vistas that just go on forever. https://ridewithgps.com/trips/290138478
The vineyards went on and on and were just lovely. The road was up and down all day and in better shape than many but there was a few ugly kickers.
Today we packed the bikes on the van to go back to Turin tomorrow and had a final wine together which was lovely. We’re now in the Barbera area so lots of Barberas. It’s also the home of some wet cheeses that many upeople enjoyed.
