Perth to Adelaide via the Munda biddi 

I have been planning this trip since coming back from Perth in 2022: the final big leg of my round Australia (in stages). 

While talking to people about it, several friends expressed an interest in coming for the Munda biddi part. Somehow that snowballed into 7 people on the Munda Biddi. No one has yet committed to the Nullarbor except my parents as support vehicle!

On the Munda Biddi we have:

• Maggie who first cycle toured on the BVRT in 2023 and has gotten right into it, riding a new Jamis hard tail mountain bike 
• Joe, who doesn’t like to ride roads on an old giant hard tail mountain bike 
• Sam and Ben who fixed up their mongoose touring bikes together at the turnstile bike shed
• Noah from Lismore who’s last cycling trip was 4 years ago in europe
• Jimmy, friend of the bike shed who is moving to Perth at the end of the trip

I am slightly nervous about this many people but figure I will have the whole Nullarbor to be by myself and reset my mind so I’m going to enjoy the jokes and the faff and the other people carrying spare parts/chairs while I can. 

We’re planning to ride for 20 days to Albany for the others to catch a bus back to Perth on the 31 August.

I’ll then continue to Esperance up to Norseman and then across the Nullarbor.
