We are heading east now, seems like this trip just got started and yet …
The Blackwater Heritage Trail is what we have found to be the standard Florida trail, wide, smooth, tree cover and a joy to ride. Today was no different. Based in the town of Milton, we simply found parking, unloaded the trikes and rode. Very few other cyclists, a few walkers but mostly we had the trail to ourselves. I think we are getting used to this winter cycling!
There was only one major road crossing which was quite nice and upon our return to the rental, we opted to ride just a bit more so we could get over the 20 mile mark. Milton also has a nice visitor center on the trail.
Today's ride: 21 miles (34 km)
Total: 451 miles (726 km)
