Off to Bendigo

We left Melbourne this afternoon for Bendigo which is the start point for the Goldfields ride beginning tomorrow.  We arrived about 4 PM giving us time to wander about before our first happy hour and dinner.  Not much else to say other than we are ready to

There is a very nice mosaic at the base of the tower representing the history of gold mining in the town. This one represents the gold atom.

Hilary JaegerNot sure about the wide brimmed hat under the helmet either. I understand the need to protect against the sun, but I would find that hotter than blazes!
