Today's ride report from Lee:

"I don’t know what’s up with Jerry Cowden putting us in these Catholic sleeping quarters... I think we saved like 30 bucks by staying here next to the Sanctuaries Norte-Dame-du-Cap, but we are still a few miles from the city center. I think he wanting me to repent against my evil ways. ;-/

Today was cool and sunny, but the forecasted winds of 5mph seemed a lot stronger. Lots of strawberry farms along the way, and we picked up a big ole basket for munching on tonight - after evening mass of course."

"Lee thinks I'm on a secret mission to convert him to Catholicism. First there was our stay at the Abbey of Saint-Benoit-du-Lac and now tonight we find ourselves staying at a hotel called 'Maison de la Madone' (House of the Madonna). I guess it's name should have clued me in but I found it on Booking.com and didn't give it a thought. Turns out this place is across the street from 'Le Sanctuaire Notre Dame du Cap' (Our Lady of the Cape Shrine). It's a massive basilica that bills itself as 'Canada's national shrine to Our Blessed Mother.' Who knew? Anyway, our room is comfortable. There's a crucifix over our door and a statue of the Virgin Mary in the lobby."
