Lee's road report today:

"Brisk and windy today as we left the city following Le Fleuve St Laurence. I got a flat tire, but didn’t mind getting out of the wind to patch the tube. We met a young Otter who started cycling from Vancouver, British Columbia back in early April. He was stealth camping to save money and carrying 60kg of gear! (Not including his cow skull!)"

Jerry's report:

"Brrrrr. What a difference a day makes! Yesterday it was in the 90's and today we had to put on jackets by dinnertime. We rode about 44 miles today. The wind was blowing hard against us. We ran into André from Paris who started his trans-Canada bike trip from Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 10. He said he didn't realize how cold it would still be then! Note the buffalo skull he has strapped to the back of his bike. Predicted low for tomorrow morning: 44°."

And seen again but further down the road. A real climb if headed into town this way . . . but they were headed out!

André and his cow skull. No explanation as to where that was picked up . . .

Given the weather today, he's dressed rather bravely.
