Yarra Valley winery tour

Today Kyle took us out to the Yarra Valley wine region for some tastings and a late lunch.  It was a little over an hour from Melbourne and there are almost 300 wineries out there so a return trip might be in order.  We only had time for 3 wineries but they were all very good.  The most common wines here are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir but they does have others.

Our first stop was at Chandon for some bubbles.

They made a special bubbly wine for the summer called Garden Summer that was a Pinot Noir Rosé with and orange infusion. It was lovely and would be great on a hot summers day.
