It is not all about the cycling even on a cycling tour.  For the past several days I have been off the bike visiting different areas of the north island, taking in adventures and culture, playing golf and visiting friends.  I am back on the bike tomorrow and the next day for a few more rides around Hawke’s Bay before moving over to New Plymouth.
