Trat to Laem Sing - Two sisters, four wheels: Saigon to Bangkok - Vol.2 - CycleBlaze

Trat to Laem Sing

After a hot night - fourth floor without air conditioning and the fan didn't do much either - we made our way along Highway 3 to another beach day this morning.  Destination Laem Sing, in the Chanthaburi district.

The trip was again very pleasant. Wide  shoulder and tail wind - that’s the way we like it.

We did make a good average speed of about 23 km/h - which was later destroyed by harsh head winds on the last 20 km. Never mind.  We had our first Pad Krapau Moo - delicious!

And we met many strange figures on our way - see photos 😂

Now we have booked ourselves in two bungalows at Laem Sing Beach.  Beautifully spacious with terrace and just across the street there is the sea.

Unfortunately the beach is also quite garbage loaded. However, some particles of garbage were already chosen by clams as surfaces for anchorage...

After shopping  a pair of fancy shoes for each of us, we had a great meal at the beach. Papaya and cucumber salad as well as fried chicken with cashews.  😋😋😋 We watch as the sun disappears behind the hills and head straight for our bungalows.

Today's ride: 69 km (43 miles)
Total: 797 km (495 miles)
