Day 86 - Witoldowo to Poznan: An ordinary day in Poland

It was warm, sunny, flat enough, with more terrible roads.

Sorry, I can't be entertaining every day.

Arriving in Poznan was a bit of a shock. It was busy, the central square crowded with tables and people on this Saturday afternoon. So this is Poland during tourist season. It was actually a total contrast to the other people at the hostel, a bunch of underfed Polish hipsters who all kept to themselves--every last one--and had no energy for anything except flicking through their phones for several hours. This unfortunately didn't prevent new people from arriving every couple of hours and turning on the lights, and with the party on the streets going on until after I got out of bed in the morning, I had a second night of very poor sleep.
