Coromandel: 3 good climbs

Today was a day of just about everything but mainly 3 good climbs within 10km. The first and last were 1.8km long averaging 9% but peaking at 13%. The middle one was 1km long averaging 7% but peaking at 10%. The remainder of the day was reasonably flat but we did climb 2500ft over 69km. Weather wise we had head and tail winds plus sun and rain. We stopped at the Rapuara water garden to view the gardens and have lunch. The gardens are quite lovely and included the Seven Stairs to Heaven waterfall. We arrived at our final destination of Coromandel Town in complete sunshine.

The beach at low tide was covered in Oyster catchers.
