In Oswego (a photo gallery)

And at the end of today’s fine ride we found Oswego, a much more attractive town than we’d really expected.  We had an excellent dinner at the Red Sun Fire Roasting Co., surrounded by surfaces painted or bearing prints reminiscent of Joan Miró.  Afterwards we took a walk along the south waterfront, walking out to the end of the pier along the south bank of the Oswego River and then south to Breitbeck Park.  A good start, but we could happily stay here for several days.  If we lived somewhere nearby - in Ithaca, say - we could bike up to Oswego for a short getaway.

But we wouldn’t bike up the North Road.  There be dogs there.
