Illiers Comray

Having just written a long post I have lost the lot! I will just see what Ken got in the way of pictures on another day of cereal plains and the excitement of a puncture

This Church in Meslay-le-Grenet has 15th Century murals but in the end finding the key proved too much for us

Th square at Illiers Combray with its ancient buildings. We had our lunch there and much to our suprise 3 other lots of touring cyclists arrive - all looked as if they were camping. Just around the corner is the house where Marcel Proust lived

I see Ken didnt take a photo of the puncture incident- very annoying as i have a brand new tyre and tube

We have BFM the continuos French news channel and it seems that the only things that have happened in the world are that a baby Panda has been born in France (it needs a name). But more importantly Neymar has bee signed for Paris St Germain
