A day off for errands, repairs, laundry and good food. Here are a few pics of the sights around Pernes and our campsite. Besides it was really too windy to ride much. We have come to understand why the region is named Ventoux!

The centre of the old village is concentrated inside its 14th century fortified ramparts.

Tent destroying implement. When Ann bent down into the tent, the end of the bread poked a hole in the fly! What?

Before Ann could snap a picture of the tear, Steve ever the handyman had it already repaired.

Steve turned them into a delicious first course.
