Chillin in the Heat: Day 20 - Rest day in Freiburg

Today we rest. We've always appreciated that in Germany, most businesses are closed on Sunday's (though it takes us a few weeks being out of NA to come to this realization).

We slept in, had a leisurely breakfast and then set out to wander around this university town to see what we could find. Since it is a uni town, there were lots of younger folks going about their business. Classes might just be getting started and everyone seemed to be in a good mood.

All in, a pretty relaxed day, just what we wanted for a rest day. A few pics to show what it was all about

Most of the streets in the old town have these open gutters with quite clean water running through them. Is seems that the water source is from springs in the adjacent hills
