The Amazing Archaeology Museum

The Archaelogy Museum does not get the crowds that other sights in Istanbul attract. However, the museum is outstanding and not to be missed. The museum is divided into three buildings-the Museum of the Ancient Orient, the Tiled Pavillon and the Archaeology Museum. These museums house artefacts from 50 centuries of Turkish history. We paid the extra cost to have an audio guide for the museum. It was well worth the extra cost.

We have been looking forward to seeing the museum as we have been told that the collection is outstanding.
