Ride to Dordrecht
Vianen - Schoonhoven - Kinderdijk - Dordrecht
First ride day. A slow windy ride on flat bike paths and rural roads. Our tour leader started going off-route. We had a few discussions before I convinced him of that - he had the wrong route loaded!
We enjoyed the beautiful countryside, with canals everywhere. We had only a few more minor navigational occurrences. We saw lots of bid historic windmills.
We enjoyed a messy fresh waffle stick at a small town fair.
Then we had a major issue near the end of the ride. The ferry we needed was full, and the next one too. We had to reroute a bit, but most people were done riding for the day.
We have a late ride start tomorrow, so we get to relax on deck for a while.
