On Sunday and Monday with our families, who'd arrived Saturday afternoon, we spent time wandering around central Melbourne. It is an attractive city and easy to walk around. Following is a small sample of the sights.

Lots of grand old and well restored heritage buildings in Melbourne

A shell shocked drop bear...It has obviously been doing a lot of dropping at the Vic Market.

Where the drop bears live. May be they aren't so mythical after all. Remember we saw warning signs on the rail trail.

One for the ornithologists...We saw a lot of Eastern Spinebills on this ride. They varied a lot in size, colour and appearance but we called them Eastern Spinebills anyway.

It is always worth sticky beaking at political demonstrations....this one was a pro-Assad gathering. They didn't have any food so we moved on.
