Day 45: Omaha Rest Day
For our day off in Omaha, we started out with breakfast at the hotel. Scott M. had some work to do, so I tended to the laundry. Just before lunch, we visited a Lori’s cousin (Myrna) and picked up some items we had shipped to her house (thank you, Myrna).
After the visit, we picked up food and cooking supplies and returned to the hotel. From there, Scott M. rode his bike to a shop for a rear cassette and chain replacement. Lunch was next at Benson brewery (Myrna’s recommendation ) - good beer and sandwiches. The bike was ready for pickup around 5pm, so after that was completed, we went a movie theater to see F1. Everyone enjoyed the movie and we stopped at a nearby tap house for beers and pizza. Nice to rest our legs!!
