Day 4: Sequim Bay State Park to Ballard

Today we were mostly on roads navigating narrow or nonexistent berms and steep hills (4100 feet of elevation). By the time we reached Port Gamble for lunch, our legs were shot. The day started overcast, then a light fog that became heavy, and turned into a light rain at times. By the time we reached the ferry at Bainbrige Island it was partly sunny. Departing the ferry, we rode north through Seattle to Scott M’s house in Ballard. We also had our first dog chase today with a Doberman and a Corgi. Clearly the Doberman was the faster of the two, but Corgi’s enthusiasm was exceptional.
