Day 30: Lovell to Worland

Today we ate and broke camp early to beat the heat (6:30 am). It reached a high of 99 degrees and it was open flat roads with no shade. Fortunately, there was a perfectly timed cloud that blocked the sun on our biggest hill. We did escape a bit of the heat by eating lunch at an air conditioned restaurant. Lots of wide open spaces as we biked up the Big Horn River valley with mountains in the distance, large irrigated farms and several oil/gas wells dotting the landscape. We did see 6 antelope grazing in a field and kicked up one deer alongside the road. Tonight we will be at a Warmshowers host.
