Day 1: Rialto Beach to 3 Rivers Resort
The ride officially starts!! Today we drove from Ballard to La Push and during the ferry ride, we spotted 3 Orca whales. Arriving at Rialto beach, we dipped our toes in the chilly waters of the Pacific Ocean while an eerie fog crept in behind us. From there we started our journey with a short warm up ride to the 3 Rivers Resort for dinner. Tomorrow morning, we will visit the Hoh rainforest, the largest temperate rainforest in the US, and then head out on the road for a 43 mile ride.
