MK riding-PM diving: Lazy Lunes shop ride

Today was just what I need to round out my month of cycling in Europe. It was a relatively easy (Lazy Lunes/ Lazy Monday) ride out of one of the local bike shops. It was a guided group ride so no more getting lost. After a month of hilly terrain my legs are done and ready for a rest and a massage. As it happens I ended up with exactly 1200km over my time in Europe and my goal for 10,000 for year now seems attainable since I have a YTD total of 8731km. We road to Lake Banyoles the site of the 1984 rowing events for coffee and back. Our group had a mix of locals and visitors, American, British, Canadian, Spanish and Brazilian. Patti went diving rather than riding since a last minute opportunity presented itself. She had a good day seeing many interesting fish including a VERY large tuna.

A rower in training on Lake Banyoles.
