Nho Quan to Quan Son
Following the QL217 to Laos
It was a long hard ride West towards Laos. The area is rural and children are very friendly and shout hello.
The last 35 km is a brand new road built with Asian Development Bank assistance. It's also much steeper than any of the roads I've ridden on before. There were a few 10 percent climbs.
