An early start at dawn and a good smooth road with shallow gradients to Chiplun.  I  even got into the groove at 16/17mph for a short section!

Cooler as it rained again last night and the sun was behind clouds.

At Chiplun, Ram whom I am staying with took me to a 100 acre area of land on a hill he has bought and is reforesting and wilding.  I met Ram many years back through flying microlights and he had an airstrip here and a hangar where his XAir is now resting with no motor.
