We didn’t pedal anywhere today

We took a planned rest day in LaCrosse, and we didn’t do much beyond clean our gear, take a riverboat cruise and sit in the park. It was very enjoyable and that’s all I have to report.

This island was a gift to the state of Wisconsin from a settler before the Civil War.

This eagle sculpture overlooks the city’s riverfront park.

The world’s largest six pack stands outside LaCrosse’s legacy brewing company (now owned by Miller).

King Gambrinus, the patron saint of brewers and beer.

A replica of the city’s landmark sculpture, which is located at the north end of town. Maybe we will see it tomorrow.
