Left Lafayette, CO with Mrs G at 11:30am heading for The Tetons and Jenny Lake. And yes that was the first audible of the trip. On her morning run with "The Ladies", they collectively decided that we should make a detour and go to Jenny Lake and then go on to West Yellowstone later. I was informed of this change about the time we got into the car, and of course I agreed as who I am to argue with the wisdom of "The Ladies".

On the way through Wyoming, I had a deja vu moment and realized we were following in reverse the route I took in 2022 when me and Pea Soup Green traversed the country from west to east. So cool to see places that I had been and to reshare my pictures and stories. I'd be lying if I told you that Mrs G was impressed with the route. From her perspective it was all uphill and highways. I think her exact quote was "and you think this is fun why?"

Tonight we're staying in Dubois, Wyoming. Tomorrow morning it's pancakes at The Cowboy Cafe. Ate there on the last trip and if I recall correctly, they have amazing (that's a shout out to the superlative queen :-) chocolate chip pancakes. Then off to Jenny Lake and then to West Yellowstone. Ride starts on Friday the 13th, a lucky day for those of us who don't suffer from triskaidekaphobia.
