When Jane rode her e-bike over a cattle guard (as in the photo), it twisted her wheel and caused her to crash.  She hit her upper arm and head on the ground, lost consciousness for a short time, and suffered a concussion and a broken humerus. The hospital didn't keep her overnight.  She and her husband Bernie have officially left the trip. Bernie will drive to our camp tomorrow and pick up their bags.
