Jaehee, 69, is a nurse who retired last year from her job in interventional radiology at George Washington University Hospital in DC. She and her husband have 2 sons, ages 32 and 30, who live in CA and VA.

Jaehee grew up in South Korea. Because she wanted to see the world, she took a job in Saudi Arabia and, at age 31, moved to the U.S. for jobs in NJ, then PA, then DC.

She's been on a few week-long bike trips, including Bike Florida, RAGBRAI (in Iowa), and Bike Maine. This is her first cross-country ride, something she has long wanted to do after retirement.
