The lead group of 6 bikers got to Gila Bend at noon. We lunched at Sofia's Mexican.  We're staying tonight in a gymnasium at the high school (school mascot: gila monster). Gila Bend is nationally known for its renewable energy grid, with 4 large solar plant operations.
