Comstock TX - Across USA in 52 Days - CycleBlaze

Comstock TX

We're camping in Seminole Canyon State Park near Comstock TX. This is our first overnight spot at which I had no cell-phone service. Here's a photo of my tent (#33), which was assigned to me for the entire trip.

At dinner, we celebrated Dan's birthday with a cake provided by caterer Anne. We had a special guest at dinner: Tanya, the park ranger.

High winds continued through the night, making sleep difficult. Laundry collection (every 3 days or so) was delayed until the morning, for fear that the bins (normally left out overnight) would be blown away.

Keith AdamsDo you always have the same neighbors (i.e. are the tents always set up in the same organization), or is just random based on which tent gets put up where?
